Which Wash Mitt?

I'm currently using one of those 'noodle' wash mitts... not sure if it's any good or not but it has to be better than a sponge. Are this type okay for cleaning the car or are there better options out there? I know there's always something better, but if there's nothing wrong with the noodle ones I'll keep it. Cheers.

tbh mate i dont really see anything wrong with the noodle mitt aslong as you make sure its kept clean and you are washing the car in the correct way (2 bucket method etc), but like everything there are better quality mitts out there, megs lambs wool/micro fibre mitts are decent or you could spend even more on a dodo juice yeti's fist mitt...down to personal preference and budget really.

Yetis fist is awful. Takes half a bucket and deposits it on the car, leaving lovely little hairs everywhere :dead:

I find my yeti's mitt great tbh, no hairs come off mine really and the odd one which might always stays in the bucket, try combing it or brushing it if you have one ;)

Second this. Used mine once and found the leather backing to be very stiff. I went back to my £6 wash mitts from halfords. As said before as long as you wash the car correctly the mitt makes little difference.

I'm using a wool mitt from halfords and does a much better job than the megs mitt and is lasting a lot longer.

Has anyone tried the microfibre sponges yet, such as the dodo juice one? I've seen them about for a long time and considering trying it out.

Noodle mitts DONT cause marring by the way. They are better then the synthetic washmitts. The one I have from I4d causes s**t loads of marks (synthetic). Yeti's fist is a gimmick and a waste of product/water IMO.

I want a sea sponge for some unknown reason!

Get a Eurow washmitt mate.

Mine comes today. Whoop.

Heres my views on Mitts; (Note, I dont look after my mitts)

Halfrauds Grey Lambswool Mitt - Bit small perhaps, but cheap, easily accessible to people who dont roder from the net. Long lasting (I have one thats 5 years old now). No issues with this one in fact its a favorite.
Megs Lambswool Mitt - Double sided with a bug shifter which I never used. Doesnt last forever, when I was using these I went through about 3 a year because they wool just came loose after a while. One I bought had straw in it once.
Dodo Supernatural Wookie - Bit big, but thats good as you can get round a car fairly quickly. Long lasting, took about 15 months for mine to get holes in it. A favorite, but it drinks yo' bucket. Expensive. Most dont like it as its so big, learn to use it so it doesnt use so much water.

Dodo Supernatural Yeti - Bit big but with a shorter pile. Good mitt IMO. Only had one for around 5 months now so dont know about durability.
Turtle Wax Noodle Mitt - My first noodle mitt, large mitt, doesnt do the paintwork any good, I owned a black car at the time and didnt have much luck with this mitt.
Rolson Yello Noodle Mitt - I use it on wheels, seems durable, decent size. Use it regularly only on wheels though.
JML Noodle mitt - Small noodle mitt, okay for wheels I guess.

About to try the Eurow sometime soon. Really want to try a Zymol Sponge.

They are useless!!! Got an e-mail saying! "We will deliver between 8-9pm!!! - to my work address, who the hell deleivers at that time! Donkeys!

If you look after them, wash mitts last.

Hated the Yeti, hated the wookie. Too large and cumbersome. And the drain a standard sized bucket.

Eurow last well and are soft enough. The Easiriders are alsoeant to be very good.
