Come off gas can hear like a wind noise/ whine noise power steering pump bit noise on start up but ok after bout 30 secs any ideas

Whistling noise / whining

A hydraulic PAS pump will make some noise at first/true cold start as the ATF is thicker and harder to physically move... this is normal. In my experience though, a wine at deceleration specifically on these turns out to be a seized aux tensioner which isn't applying adequate pressure to the Aix belt itself. This is a pretty dangerous one for the engine to as the aux belt *could* skip a pulley and get dragged in to the timing case.
It's fairly simple to take off the aux belt and inspect the condition of the PAS pump though. Certainly worth doing and you'll also find out the condition of your aux tensioner unit whilst you're at it.
