Whiteline or pms rear roll bar?

  197 Cup
I was going to fabricate myself a rear anti roll bar.

They're probably as easy as each other to make, providing I can get the right steel for a solid one.

I prefer the look of a pms and it'll be lighter but has anyone had both to compare? I don't like the clamps either so will be doing something different!

Any help will be great!

I was actually thinking the other day after seeing a whiteline ARB how simple it would be to manufacture?

We used to have roll bars made at my old work and it was just 1" solid bar bent and powder coated.
Never had any problems!
You probably could use a bit of old railing! And a couple of oversized exhaust clamps!

Surely they don't really do anything with a solid rear beam?
Someone correct me please, I want new parts

Wish it showed it without to really show the full extent of movement. Crazy how an ARB, running along the similar shape and being much thinner can stiffen it up so much.

I did a test at Anglesey last year with the whiteline disconnected on one side and you can clearly see from this picture how much deflection there is between the bar and it's mounting link.
