Who makes the best spark plugs?

  Mégane RS
Time to renew my spark plugs soon and i was wondering who makes the best and which version?

  Chocolate Bar™
NGK ones.

cheap and do the job. i personally think the 4spark ones are just advertising hype

  Skoda Fabia vRS
Ebay...

most if not all Motor World branches can get you NGK, Bosch, Denso Iridium, and all have Champion in stock

Its 1.4 8v e7j that vinnys got.

Ive used Bosch 4s in the past and now got ngks which seem to be fine, occasional huge flat spot but i should maybe recheck the gaps on them

what are the standard fit renault ones in both 1.2 16v's and 182s??

how long should they last? as my 182 mpg seems down, wondered if the spark plugs were geting a bit poor..

and my sisters 1.2 has a coilpack/spark problem i think

  Mégane RS
yeah as john said lol

currently running bosch ones i think, they were loads better than the champion ones

  172 cup'd extreme

Renault says the plugs in a 172/182 are good for 72k miles . Mine lasted just over 30k miles in my old mk2 172 . No engine mods and always run on optimax from new .

mines on 24k miles now

rant it on optimax and now sainsburys super

mrbilly.. did you just replace them with NGK's or genuine renault?

I didn't know it was the spark plugs at the time . It was struggling under 2500 revs , took it to the a local bosch certified garage who found the plugs were f*cked . Renault use NGK PFR6E-10 , about £10 a plug .
