Why does rear jet squirt but front's not?

Can not understand why when squirting the front windscreen washer jets they dont work but the rear still works?
Any ideas?

Can you hear the pump running when you try the front? if so its full crap,get a hose pipe in there and give it a good flush out.

Tony mte i tried that after all ur help before and it jus wont work.had the hose in running for 10 mins could see loads of crap float out the bottle but still no joy
I dont get why the rear works but not the front?
What is weird is when i had the rear squiryingfor a good 20 seconds then tried the front strate away they worked (not properly, but still had water come out) when i stopped abd the tried again literaly 1 second later nothing at all came out
So confused and pissed off with it now

And yes mate can hear the pump working as normal, just no water

Might sound stupid, but could be worth a look.

Open the bonnet and have someone watch when you turn on the washers.

On mine a connector half way along the fluid line was loose, so whenever they were used half the washer fluid sprayed all over the engine bay.

You have still got a blockage in there somewhere,as you say, when you use the rear one you are moving the blockage away from the front feed pipe,thats why the front works,if only for a short time.

Ive done that mate, couldbt even see any water coming through the pipes.but im unsyre which pump is for the front, do you know if its the one on the left of the bottle or the one on the right?
I know the rear comes off the right but couldnt work out if the front is meant to also

What do you sugeat Tony? I literally had the hose in for at least 10 mins, the bottle looks loads cleaner but still no squirty squirty lol

Im so fed up i want to pour some drain blockage chemical in lol

You might be right,but the bottle needs to come out whatever by the sounds of it.

Jets are fine, its not pumping any water out thats the problem

No, the rear doesnt squort when i dp the front.i just mean, the rear jet works but the front dont and i didnt know why? I now take it there are 2 seperate pumps, one does the front and the other pump does the rear

Need to get ot all apart but cantget the wiper arm off to do it!!??

there is one pump for the front and rear window, and one for the headlight washers. window washer pump has two exits and an integrated valve, dependant on the turn direction of the motor (voltage alternates) it is transporting water to the front or rear. in your case i would clean the pump, lines and jets. eventually the valve in the pump is blocked. wiper arms come off fairly easy by pressing and wiggling a bit. give it a few slaps on the part where you can lift the wiper off the screen. wd40 might help.

I want them to work properly, i use the rear often, clio rear ends get dirty easily

you can change the pump without removing the wiper arm and scuttle, just about. Have to have small hands though

how do you do this? i have a similar problem. fronts work fine but when opperating the rear they dont work, they just come out the fronts instead. :S
