Why not ..?

I recently have sold up and got a LCR which is now putting out 270 bhp, which make the drive to work quite exciting ..!

I loved my Clio but needed 5 doors, however after driving a car with 270 going through the front wheels, I can't help wondering why Reno never put a Meggy 225 engine in the Clio, I surpose because it would have made the V6 abit redundant, but they would have created a seriousy quick car by doing so .. !!

Its all about a target market i suppose! They have to fill an area of the market in which it makes the car affordable and safe for a larger majority of the general public. As you correctly say it would of also killed the market for the arrival of the Vee.
