go to a windscreen fitter they will sell you it then you can feel confident in it.
i buy it from the av screens bloke a fiver a tube... but you will notice they all use electric mastic guns because the stuffs so bloody hard

Its a rubber sealent adhesive that'd be ideal for that.

I used it for sticking a plastic front wheel arch trim back onto my birds old corsa that popped off as it was lowered and wheel caught it while turning and hitting a bump and i also used it on the rear number plate that was a bit loose and i didn't want to use screws into fibreglass bumpers.

And it stuck like s**t and held them in place no problem
