window overkill?

Ive got some of this which i like:

and i also have some of this which is truly amazing:

question is, after claying the windows, would i get any benefit from applying glass polish, then the repelent gel too?
 
I have never been a fan of these supposed rain repellents.

I clay, machine polish with SRP, then wax if I can be bothered, something like p21s (R222) now.

the provision stuff is amazing mate. you dont even need windsceen wipers on when its raining. i didnt believe it until i saw it.

A really good wax will repell water aswell mate.

barely use my wipers fella, benefits of machine polishing, even without wax. This is sad, but I put the wax on about three weeks back because I couldn't sleep and wanted to see how good it would repel rain when not driving lol :S

A really good wax will repell water aswell mate.

lol. i dont have a machine polisher tho (unfortunately)

so referring back to the OP lol, do you think both is overkill?

Serious answer; no, it's not over kill. Technically you are claying, polishing, sealing . . . just like paint :)
