Window problem

I have a Clio mk2 sport on a 03 plate . When I press the passenger window switch on the drivers side both windows go down and up but if I use the driver window switch nothing happens I just here a clicking noise . Can anyone help

I would think theres a short somewhere between the switches, if your handy with a mulitmeter you can do a continuity test between the 2 switches

the passenger side is wired through the driver side
