Window Tints!

Right, Thinking about getting some tints done..

How dark should I go?!

Basically, I want it noticable.. but I want it sensible. I need to see at night out the side windows, but I dont want it very lightly smoked so its not noticable that they are tinted.. Would like something like Medium Smoke, but dunno if this is light enough?

Anyone got any pics of Light smoke, Medium smoke etc..? Anyone got a pic of their Car with the maximum legal tint too?

Daz, the corsa that came to the meet had the darkest you could go thats legal.. wasnt too expensive either, was £250 for it all i think, and teh back window.. you couldnt see in, but you could see out. He had good contacts though.. so that price might be lower than you can get.

The front windows dont look tinted at all on that Corsa!

Its legal to have Limo at the back.. just not on the front windows! Id want the same tint all round though..

I got a 35 on the front and 50 on the rears. you can easily see out but you cant; see in unless you really try. I think the 35 is just over the legal limit of what youre allowed but its what youd call medium smoke I suppose. The 20 film which is a light smoke is really hardly worth bothering with, although it IS legal.

Nick, yep.. this is what Im thinking. I dont want a tint which is unnoticable. Medium Smoke is the one I think.. but Im worried about the legal side of things? And like, not being able to see!

Daz??? Youve seen my car??? The back 3 are pretty much blacked out but the side 2 are legal

the front windows on a new Clio are just under the legal limit for tinting as it is. Bets off going for medium tints on the back and light on the front. Night driving will still be hard, but you get used to it. Its night driving when its raining thats the really hard one!

Mines 35 all round, depending on cloud conditions (as random as that seems!) mine can go really dark or really light.... Darkest is when its raining?!?

Just get limo black all round! Youll get used to it!

Its stupidly dark at first but after a while you learn to drive around them.
