Windows Explorer

Right, I be having a few problems.

Once ive downloaded something it goes into my "Downloads" folder. Now up until yesterday all was fine, but now everytime I add a new file, I get this the error message that something has occured and needs to close..

AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.3156 ModName: xvid.ax
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0003dd11

^^ thats the error code.

Any suggestions? :(

Probably via the Control Panel - Add/Remove programs, and look for any codec pack.

Mind you, why thats happening via Explorer is a bit weird.

nah its not he will have the view set to thumbnail and it will be trying to generate the thumbnail for an xvid file and it crashes it

as has been said control panel then add remove software
look for xvid codec or cccp or something along that line

:(
