Windscreen washer pump not working

as above squirts nothing and makes no noise. even had a go at taking the pipe off and seeing if there was a blockage but they all blow clear and the fuse (if its off the same circuit as the windscreen wipers) is fine.

is there anything else i need to look for before i try the ballache of getting to the washer pump.

on a mk2 ph1 1.2 RN Grande (w reg)

the pumps have a habbit of breaking my 1.2 8v broke a couple of times.
just go to a scrappy and get the black motor and it will be fine

not worth it, might as well go to a motor factor and buy a new one for like a tenner.

does anyone know how to get access to it or where excactly it is. i cant find any screws whatsoever to get the plastic bit off to get to the tank to have a good look.

any ideas??

You have to get take off the wipers first then iirc there are two push in screw yolks at either side of the car.

To take the whole wiper arm off u have to get some tool thing and put it on the wiper squeeze it then the wiper comes off

what? why would he need to take his wipers off? Just take out the pump and replace it

to take off the scuttle panel you need to take off the wipers..
or if he has small hands he can lift it up a little pull out the pump and replace it.
