just had a pop up reccomending i install winfixer 2005, to speed my computer up and check for viruses etc, is this advised or is it some kind of dodgy pop up, never heard of it? dont want to fook my computer up again so.........

do i install it?

Sounds like a pop up - wouldnt recommend installing it without checking it with a virus cehcker as could be or contain spyware.

how do i check it with a virus checker? i have avg and spybot both free,

its a pop up off microsoft internet explorer by the way, or so it says?

It's just a pop-up, clicking on it sends you to there website to purchase it and then you end up with some crap software on your machine.
