Wing Mirror removal

Some vandal ripped my passenger wing mirror of my phase2 172. What I wanted to know is how to get plastic trim of in interior to get to mounting so I can remove broken one. Advice muchly appreciated

i think it just clips on on the inside mate but im not sure. before you do rip it off just make sure there are no hidden screws and just to warn you, you may need to take the door card off as some cars require you to do that to remove it.

pull the plastic cover off from inside and theres 3 torx type screws underneith the cover. take them off and unplug the electrical plug thing and bobs you teapot!
