Wing mirrors

Hey guys! I need to take the coloured casing bit off my wing mirrors to re paint, anyone know how to get them off? Or do you have to take the hole thing off?

prise off the glass, and there are clips so you can remove just the covers. Use a screw driver to get the mirror out. It will be tight and if you break it it's all on you
