worth nos’in

Got a phase 2 mark 1 clio 1.4 16v with 17s on.

want a bit more out of occasionally, do we think its worth puttin a nos kit on it ?? 25bhp or 50bhp if it will take it.

some1 ppl will say yes, some ppl will say no.

all depends wether your gonno tell your insurance company about it, then its say £750 for fully kitted, and then u gotto top it up.

or buy a vavler u got 130bhp all the time, insurance isnt so bad (TPFT anyway)

i donno mate at the end of the day its totally upto u, if u feel u need it and u really want it and u have the money to burn. plus be a nice sleeper. then go for it mate.

imo i would only kit my 1.4 with Nos if i had money to spare and i was bored. if not i would invest in a bigger lumpd car. e.g. Vavler, but thats just me.

Engine should be fine with 25hp with 50 you may need to have the timing adjusted.

Your better of dropping a bigger ening in there IMO. The 16V 1.8 can be dropped in for ~£1500 all in I belive from some Renault tunning companies (BB me thinks)

Valver engine is 137bhp / 116 lb/ft. Nos is silly in my eyes, you would be far better spending the money on a real engine / engine work. If you like to think of yourself as a Fast & the Furious bad ass then go ahead, but its not that when you have to fill up your 25lb tank of Nitrous when filling your tank.
