hmmm dodgy ground m8, sold as seen i take it??
take it, it worked fine b4?? no probs at all, not 2 sure on ecu going
will there have been signs of it b4 or not, could just be really unlucky??
prob might have been on and off b4 maybe?? and now totally done, otherwise might have only gone once u got back in which case not sellers fault
worked fine on test run,drove home and as soon as i turned it off it was dead,wouldnt move again,ecu wasnt priming the fuel pump.i cud understand if i had driven it 4 a week or so but the same day.im gonna ring him just seing wot other people thort.if the guy int fair then il sort it

thats why you write a contract and make both parties sign it!!! it should say that for a period of 1 month or 2 weeks etc if anything fails with the car thats not the fault of the new owner and or is was known of by the seller before the deal was done then the new owner has the right to give the car back and get a refund minus a bit for miles done in the car or for the previous owner to payfor/meet halfway with costs for repair.
this way if there is anything dodge the seller will usualy crack and tell you the truth because they dont want to run the risk of losing money or getting the dam car back.
