Would Chipsaway et al sort this?

Or would they just say LOL you need a new car.

Basically, had to swerver out of the way of a LHD Romanian 40t truck going the wrong way down a 7.5T Limit road. I came off the road and scraped into a bush. Police did attend, but the guy couldnt even speak English and there wasnt alot they could do =/

Theres an area a little larger than a tennis ball of paint that has flaked off (possibly laquer, as the finish still has the pearl sparkles of the original colour) the bumper is slightly pushed in under the head light around 1.5mm.

Their advert came on the TV, and it just seemed a convenient way of sorting it.

Thanks

Probably cheaper to get a new front bumper? But chipsaway could sort the scratching to the paintwork on the wing.

Word of warning though, chipsaway are franchises - so the quality of their work / capability is dependant on the franchise owner and staff. For example, the one in Reading is run by a guy called Steve who is excellent, and his staff are. He does the Astons / Lambos / Rangeys for Lancaster just down the road from him. He did my porsche and was faultless.

However, I also know that chipsaway franchises elsewhere are shocking. So, its pot luck if you haven't used them before.

Have a gander at this;

Theres no "damage" to the bumper, its just paint work needed.

How much do people estimate a bodyshop would charge for it? I had a quote to have it done with other things but not sure I want them now, just the damage fixed, restored to mint and then maybe sell it?

Its a shame cause its the only mark on the car (actually, I caught a rim on a pot hole, so that needs sorting)

What sorta cash do we think this would cost? £300ish?

Bumper looks to have been painted before anyway. Not a difficult/expensive job. About £300 is around the mark.. (Depending where you are and where you go)
