Wrapping A Ph1 Knob? Possible?

We've all seen the ph1 gear knobs get a bit tatty, and as it seems not possible to do anything with them.... I was just wondering if it'd be possible to carbon wrap it?

Any reason why not?

Don't see why not if you use heat to wrap it, it should work.

ph1 is a metal ball is it not? give it a scrub down, n put a sock over it in winter lol

I wouldn't imagine it would stay on terribly well? The bonding surface won't be great and it's going to be pretty high wear.... But as you said, nothing to lose really so give it a bash.

It's metal, but powder coated, so it's scratched. Makes me sad tbh.

That was my worry, but I suppose it depends how well it's wrapped. I'll give it a go tonight maybe.

could just respray it ? would need to mask a fair bit of interior off though lol
