xbox modem connection

I have a netgear DG834G v3 sat on my desk which has never been used, Im currently on the net using a USB speedtouch.

I tried plugging the netgear in before but couldnt get it to work, not sure if I need a disk or something for it.

Anyway could someone help as to how to set it up or do I need a different one, As im not sure if the LAN ports are naf

you need to plug a network cable then access it using internet explorer or firefox address is normally 192.168.1.1 or .0.1 password is normally password user is admin I think, then configure the adsl details with your username and password for your broadband and your away, then you can set up wireless etc etc
