xenon light busted......

well my xenon light is not working on my drivers side.

i have a feeling that water has got in the back of it as the cap thing has came off wen i was just looking at it

do you think the water cud have made the blub go or do you think i need to replace the whole unit

had a look at the connection and they seem to be in properly so with all the wind/rain weve had i have a slight feeling the fact the cup was off has bust it

oh dear oh dear lol

i may have a spare bulb somewhere but you cant really go without a headlight till i come over lol

only thing you could try is........ take the bulb out of the working side and put it into the side that isnt, if it works, its just the bulb...otherwise it might be the charger

Best bet is to go on Ebay - and have a look for another light unit - or get one off a car that has been trashed from the back.............

same happened to mine, the resistor pack had water in it and the bulb had gone. lucky for me it was done under warranty

Had the same problem with my 182, the drivers side xenon decided to pack up completely. Checked and replaced the fuses and it blow them straight away.

Renault changed the entire cluster under warranty, would have been expensive!
