Okay question:

What makes the B2 / Road Angel two worth so much brass?

I would like a detector but I dont want a load of bells and whistles that I dont need, as long as it tells me when to slow down.

According to MCS Direst the S2 Neo will detect all fixed cameras via GPS, has 360 degree laser and will warn of all laser traps and can have the S100 mobile radar detector added. Now that to me is all the Origin B2 or Road Angel offer (other than the B2 admittedly nice feature of only warning if you are speeding). For cica 200 notes I can live without it.

Enlightenment please?

yeah thought about the same model, looks good too, las more features, as in detects mobile radar, (dont know if this is used much in UK now, laser is preferred) dont think it shows your current speed though.
