Need a Wax...

What about Zymol waxes?

I have Carbon, Titanium, Concours and Destiny, each one so far bar the Destiny for me has been surpassed by the cheaper Swissvax equivilent to them. They do produce good results but are not the most user friendly products in the world.

My Swissvax Mystery turned up today so will give it a head to hard with the Zymol Destiny at the weekend.

I would advise seriously looking into the Swissvax route over the Zymol in most instances tbh.

After SRP & EGP I quite like P21s (or tallow lol) on my silver dream machine

Brings the metallic out in the paint great on the odd occasion we see any blooming sunshiiiiiiine ?

just used my zymol Titanium for the first time today found it very easy to use and gave really good results !!!

Thought you've been a bit quiet today Rich, guessed you been smelling the Mystery or applying it. :)

Where'd you order it from? I've been holding back from 360 etc to give JohnnyO the business for my BOS order but I guess he's still awaiting stock.

BTW any thoughts on Swissvax Seal feed?

Cheers for now.

lol - Not until I got home!

I got it from Tim@Cleanyourcar and took advantage of the CS Discount. Tend to get all my Swissvax from there. I saw John is going to be starting to stock it soon.

Looks interesting but I still have loads of BMW Gummifledge to use first.

They have used some of the worst names for these waxes. What sounds cooler: Swisswax Onyx or Dodo Juice Banana Armour?!? I rest my case... I mean, case closed!

Spoke to Riz earlier - He seems happy with the purple one, I though this was the cream of the Dodo range ?

^^^ Stunning ^^^ Pete's 53 is ace.

I'm suprised there hasn't been one mention on Victoria wax on here though either. tut tut. Seriously for under £30 it's a absolute belter. It has the looks of P21s on initial application but I'm certain it looks better the day after.

My car is currently wearing Collectors and it looks stunning and is proving very durable and gives cracking beading.

Nice photos! Not sure if its the photos but I would say the Clearkote looks best out of all of those Rich...

Mine is a state on the outside at the moment, need to give it some loving (not like that..)

The Clearkote ones where taken with my old camera which always seemed give an added look. That said those pics and something Brazo said the other day means I will be using that combo before the Mystery now at the weekend, infact I want to be there doing it now :(

Yeah it may just be the camera and/ or angle - but just my initial thoughts.

This for Trax, right?

Indeed, combined with the fact it would be sacralidge to apply the Mystery without any form of polishing before hand.

Plan is Final Finish, and the full 3 step of Clearkote Glazes as in the the above pics, overkill maybe but hey you know me!

  Mito Sportiva 135
Its all about glazes these days...

Wish I could do the same with mine, but with all this rain and going back to uni soon I am going to be applying the heavy duty protection after the PC. Ghey!

Hoping to do mine tomorrow if the weather holds out :S

I've got a big bbq on Sunday and sad as it sounds I wouldn't be happy driving there with the car looking dirty...

My plan for this weekend is:

Good wash
Clay with Sonus green
Seal with CG Body Blitz
Wax with 50/50
Then dress all plastics again (seems like I am forever doing this in this rain )

In the next couple of weeks I will be getting le PC out from its lair... still excites me using it!

  "Navy" N17 TWO
I love that Carnuba moose wax look - might try it on mine with the Clearkote VM :)

Which of the above 2 are better lasting?

Not much in it IMO - CMW may slightly edge it.

Sounds good to me :)
Is it ok to leave the car for a day between glaze & wax?

I've just buffed with Menzerna IP and applied the CVM glaze - off to work now and then onto a show in the morning :approve:

I dont notice any difference on rich's car between products lol! You could use Turtlewax and it would still look perfect! ;)
