Name me a decent Polish/Wax.

  Golf GTD Mk7
Not sure why I bother reading these threads to be honest.

T-Cut, no.

SRP is a very good polish, hence if you search, Ed, you will find it mentioned in pretty much every thread on here.

EGP is equally as good, again as above.

Hutchie, polish and a wax in one is not a good idea, as it is physically impossible to provide both polishing power and protection. They need to be separate stages/products.

Well said Jamie. EGP is ok and being a sealant will last much longer than wax. Best off putting a sealant on followed by a wax. I love dodo juice, but there are equally good waxes available that are cheaper like Megs stuff for example.

Valet Pro Artemis beading shots...

The sheeting is like NOTHING I have seen before... well, maybe Vintage, but that doesn't count :)

Swissvax ONYX.

Hai x

An insult to Rich's (CS) memory tbh.

You 'might' be 4th behind Brazo and Paul...

FO, Paul sucks and Brazo doesn't come on here anymore/I taught him! Like Luke!

Can we still call Rich no.1?

Jamie just copies what I say how does that make him better!

Don't make me come round and quote you ;) "If I had a pound for everytime I used Jamie's advice . . . "? :rasp:

Indeed..like this pisch!!

Might as well have just stabbed me in the back, Jonny :dapprove::eek:

Very nice Russ, beading is second to sheet IMO, I love firing the jet wash at my car once it has been waxed, PROPERLY.

Yeah, but you can't see the colour of the paint after that method ;)

Still impressivo.
My cars yellow! Colour doesn't really matter it'll still blind you in the sun!

Gally, you wonder why I thought you were female.

Not sad

Haha, I heard Craig's advice was better than yours on MP :rasp:
You're not the only one and I get "are you gay" a lot.

Give a f**k?

Just a running banter with Paul and I about Dodo. I don't see the massive deal with them, think it's a bit of a phase that people are going through, but Paul and Dawn swear by them.

TBF used the Blue Velvet on Needy's RB R27 and looked superb. Standard awkward Jamie moment ;)

Been there done that, told you that you need to drink more Pineapple juice ;)

That actually made me feel slightly ill lol.

I NEED to be ordering some of that Valet Pro Atermis Wax by the looks of it... Was going to wait for R222's to run out but maybe I'll just keep the Atermis for my Car and R222's for everyone else's :)

Is it alright over CG Blitz as that is also on my Shopping List

R222 looks awesome, but it has shocking durability now.

I've got to the point now where ANYTHING 'new and fresh' looks good, with very subtle differences. It's in the prep and application...

PAUL! Serious? Might just be the light but FM that is a huge difference!

Russ, I used P21s for ages, then changed to Natty's. But now I am at home with a garage etc, I could use anything tbh, could top up every week if I wanted to!

R222 will be on the list along with some other bits.

Oh and Paul, I am going to get some Blue Velvet, purely for the funsies of getting it all over my hands haha!

maybe cause it was taken on diff cameras but i really dont see that big a difference:S blue velvet/orange crush/ light fantastic - all those diff names are ''gimmicky'' imo. I used orange crush on a panel of my mates performance blue st and blue velvet on another and i can assure there was NO difference. They just smell different. r222s is a decent wax

Never got my hands on the blitz yet Jamie, use as a spray on sealent?

Yeah, very good, quick blast after washing now, another coat of protection.

Agree with you totally on that.

It's just clever marketing, and it's worked a treat, they have shifted 10,000's of pots!!

EEEEExactly.

yip fair play on that but its a lot of nonsense tbh

ICE ICE BABY!!!

Paul...I rate the dodo waxe's I've used before but I must say from the pics you've put up, the finish with the Swissvax BOS on looks miles better!

To the OP:

A good polish (by hand): Autoglym SRP
A good wax: Victoria Concours

  clio 182 & Fiesta RSTurbo
G3 is sh*te
t-cut is sooo much better
i just really dont get along with the G3
hate it hate it hate it!!!

Cos G3 is to be used with a machine, T-Cut is used by hand.

I'd never use T-Cut on any car regardless of what people say, i guess it's ok if you have single stage paint but not for cars with clearcoat surely.

3M, Menzerna, Megs, farcela are the polishes of my choice.

Using a DA for beginners and leading upto a rotary.
