That was my mates old car, he sold it in 2008 @ auction for £800!

The fact I never bought it shows how much of a pile of shlte it was/is.

Absolute death trap, had more hits than the Beatles.

That explains a lot if you are telling me that a sweaty sock owned it :dead:..... Poor little car...

Why haven't you got an MOT?

Is it because it's so fucked you know it won't pass, so think it's better to just sell it as it is?

I have too many cars at the moment. I am tempted to put it through a test. Not got the time.

It's nice to see that a member of the admin can be so obtuse. Looks like I have pissed my £10 membership away on a site full of chewy ba$tards. :S
Should be called WrigleySPORT.net.

FFS I have advertised it honestly and not asking big money for it. May give it to my mate to break for me.

Bored now:sleepy:

So it's fair to call someone a 'sweaty sock' and then moan that people on here are 'chewy'? I don't eat people though, so no idea if they're chewy.

I saw your car on eBay (before I saw this thread, so had no idea of it's history) but the lack of MOT put me off and it being dirty. Giving those wheels a clean will do you good.

I don't believe the 'not got time' part. You don't do the test yourself. Just drop it off.

Even if it fails, it's much better to be able to give someone a list and say 'It needs x/y/z' rather than them having to take the risk.

A cheap Cup with a list of things that need fixing, I'd be tempted to buy. A cheap Cup that could have anything wrong with it, I wouldn't touch.

We look out for each other on here, so that's why Gaz has said what he said. You didn't say it was your car. Maybe had you joined before you bought it, you might have managed to avoid it ;)

Agree with Revels tbh, if the advert said, its £1650 needs £200 of work for an MOT, no tax and body work a bit scruffy, I might be tempted. No MOT makes it a big risk, and as these cars arent making book at the moment less than £1k in it makes it no where near worth the risk.

OK - I have taken some advice. I have booked it in for test on Thursday.

Believe me I meant the "sweaty sock" jest in good faith, I have an apartment in Scotland and have many mates there. I know that the Scots like to drive fast and usually look after their cars. This one has had many owners and it is showing signs of some abuse. That said it is cheap. I will just and see what the MOT throws up. Not really that worried and not in a rush to sell, could however do with the space.

I also own a RB 182 ff that I won at auction this week, taking collection later on this week. This one has full service history and appears to be un-abused.

Lesson learned - won't be posting any of my cars for sale on here any more.

Gary happens to be a good friend of mine, and has better judgement on most when it comes to passing comment.

For you to come on here and act like a c**t and make comments that do no favours for a new member, i find that laughable. If you dont like it, f**k off

LOL...Nothing quite beats a bit forum muscle flexing, to make you feel better about yourself. That's laughable. I only posted my car and defended my corner. If you don't like that then do what told me to do...

Tbh, this guy is selling a bit of a nail of a car, but he isn't trying to dupe any of you! Give him a break, the advert isnt misleading in any way (clearly states spares/repair) so let him get on with it. If you want to buy a cheap car that has been abused for track etc then go for it, if you don't then STFU tbh. Just my view on it.

My offer was declined lol :dapprove:

And I had sorted a price for collection

Thanks for the offer but TBH I would rather keep it and maybe do a few cheap track days in it for that money. After all the 182 that I got today is too good to wreck around a track, (so back to square one).

Thinking about lowering the Buy it now to £1450 and removing the best offer button for the last few days. Then if it goes it goes.....If it doesn't sell will put it up on stands and slowly de-chav and cleanse the poor little thing.
