That could be quite a good idea...although I know you will want to lead us in when we get there.

Well I can stay at the back and then when' we're close, I'll have to do a very looooooooooong overtake to get upfront. Got 2 weeks yet to sort something so it's early shots ATM

And everyone drives safely, i'm yet to see a tool from this area!! God help them if one does arise!

Spot on Mart. At the end of the day, the convoy is a big part of getting there and the last thing I would want to see would be an accident. The only stupid things we do is put Ad's car up on ramps on a kerb at a meeting point to do a B&Q bodge on his exhaust before going to the Black Mountains Run last year.

When I ended up leading a convoy last year to FCS we stuck to the limit.
1. Because I obviously wasn't risking a sneaky camera van or police in a layby
2. Because I can't go fast enough lol

There was a little race between a matte green fiat 500 abarth and a raider 200 but that was asking for it.
I'll probably end up near the back either way so if you are judging lights/junctions, just keep an eye out for me

Also I prefer going early morning the day of the event, makes it more exciting when it's quiet on the roads!

Correct location...not sure about time yet.

Time will be 08:45 prompt. I would suggest meeting around 08:30 but we will be leaving at 08:45...so if you are running late, you will have to catch us up on M6 South. Its approximately 1hr 30 mins to Duxford from the Services...so should be there about 15 mins before the start if we dont stop...but we can always stop for loo break or whatever if we have some flexibility in the time we need to get there on time.

Hope that is okay guys and girls...I will be PMing this out in the near future
