the 'real deal' xenons are crap. the hid kit ive got is amazing. where do you get these bulbs from and what kinda money we talking?

can someone give me a basic outline of the difference between these? and how you can tell if a non-182cup has cup packs or not?

just cos i remember from my 172 that they were a self contained unit, wheras my hid kit obv has external balasts etc. jus wondered if the back of the light comes off and i can just fire my hid bulbs straight in
