Morning all,
Has anyone had a wheel refurbised in full perf leather? I can't find any pics. I fancy the idea of alcantara on the thumb grips and and the 6 o'clock with full perf for the rest on my 182 but has anyone else had it with pics?
Cheers, Leigh
Slip the h/u out. Where it plugs into the car loom you should find that the h/u has speaker wires and the Clio doesn't. Usually the after market h/u has a live, switched live and earth in one part of the plug and 8 wires (2 off green, grey, purple, white). If all 8 match your Clio, the wires are...
Have you had a real good look at the springs? Might be that they've chipped stopping them seating properly? My top mount is gone and its an obvious clunk.
What car/stereo you got mate, u might need to upgrade the head unit before u can add rear speakers.
I've fitted 6x9's today, saves boot space and looks factory (with a stealth shelf) not the thumping noise from a sub, but get the right 6x9's and you'll get good clear tunes, volume and punchy...
I've used poorboys wheel sealant, for 12 months all they've needed is a sponge or old washmit, hardly need to bother with any detergent too, just water gets most muck off.
Lol, it's not that special it needs a trip out, I just use it a lot and it has a few good bends and is uphill! It's the stretch between Kirkby and selston, up over the M1. It's good for me as I know where all the kinks, lumps, potholes are, and where you can loose traction.. Not much more than...
Ok mate, how do you rate it out of 10 in terms of noise? Vid clips are helpful, but its not like in person! Can you give an out of 10 rating for the standard system, then the same for what you expected, then what it is.. 10 obviously being ear-bleedingly loud, 1 being throttle on or off, can...
Soon! It took about 4 hours, loads of traffic (clutch took some getting used to), but it was comfy, and I realised how much I love auto-lights, and missed cruise control!
Home :)
It's a lot better on the motorway than I thought! I'm getting used to the lack of turbo already. Took it along my favourite strip of road on the way back, it's belting! All the toys seem to work OK, no surprises from it! Will give it a quick clean and get some pics up. Will get a...
Think u miss the point.. This is almost a survey of miltek owners! I'm interested in actual user experience too.. Would like to know how loud people think the miltek is vs standard too..
My test drive was ok, stepping the back out a touch. Didn't need much of a test drive to feel its gonna come alive in the twisty's :D Shame it's a 150 mile mostly motorway trip home :sleepy:
Don't think I'm the first to post this topic, but 2mor is the day I collect my 182. First Clio ownership, I had a Meg 225 Cup until last summer, so it has a big reputation to follow :)
I think because the difference between the FF+Cup and Cup are so few, it's a bit like 'why would I not want to get the half leather etc for the similar price'. I know I thought that when looking, so it'll be the same when it comes to selling.
Top dollar mobile gave me the most for mine by far, 12 month old 8gb 3g that had seen some hammer (£140). Ebay you have the risk someone won't be happy with something, plus your fees.
The orange is an actual cup, so cloth seats etc. Both you need to have actual evidence, receipts of cambelt changes. The blue one, as Steve says, it's not got cup wheels, so they've either been swapped, or it doesn't have cup suspension. You look like ur going for the lower mile ones though...
lol - brown bear, that 172 is well different from the front, it looks like it's had it's fried egg indicators swapped!
I think Inferno only came out in 2005 too, so they're a touch more. According to heritage figures, there were only 148 FF (only 20 of them didnt have some sort of cup pack)...
