most renault engines are pretty naf when cold, me 1.6 used to be the worst, revs used to fuctuate quiet abit until warmed up, 182 isnt too bad but still does it

i had problems with my 1.6, sometimes moustures gets behind the speakers and causes them to stop or be intermitemt, check that it isnt damp, if it is dry the connections of and clean any corrosion of the contacts if there is any.

the 1.6 are pretty quick cars, they just dont look it so can catch many of guard

lower than 40mm tough youll need shortened shocks and that cost more, plus on a daya to day road car over 40mm will be terrible ride quality

used to have the 40mm apex ones on me 1.2 years ago, they were ok and looked just rite but i wouldnt go for em again after having eibachs

i think under 10 seconds is abit obtimistic, my 1.6 has book speed of 9.3 and i certainly dont believe a 1.2 could acheive that

i had a modus 1.2 as courteous car while me 1.6 was getting serviced, getting 50mph was such a drama plus it felt like it was going to roll, getting back in own was great, getting back into a 182 would be heaven lol

Used to be posh in a garage, now its in residential carpark, tough i can see if from the house

should have binned the spare wheel temporary, those spares are 20kgs, should save few bit time
