Hi All, Just wondering if anybody has a diagnostic / fault reader I could borrow for 10 minutes?? Im in Southampton! Both ESP and Serv lights come on intermittently. I have replaced the brake light switch and it still comes on after around 3 miles. MOT next week so could do with sorting this...

awww rubbish. Took me ages to find the problem. The ball joints didnt actually rattle until the car was put on one of those shaker plate things. Good luck finding the issue!

Hi It turned out to be the ball joint... had them both replaced and no more knocking :clap:

Only a "FAIL!!!" if I hadn't checked for loose stones or anything that could have damaged the wheel first! No damage to the wheel so no "FAIL."

What do people think about the silver centre caps??? Wheels are Turinis finished in satin anthracite...

Would be good to get a quote from "up to scratch" if you have their number?? I have had a quote from the wheel specialist and they are way more expensive than other comparible companies. Thanks for the info though!

Hi, Just had the same problem. I was quoted £108 for 2 new front springs. Managed to get a set of 4 Eibach Sportlines for £128 and just replaced the lot. I was worried about lowering the car too - I bought the 25mm lower springs and it looks about right - not too chavvy and no rubbing!

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!!!

Hi All, I have just had some work done on my car and subsequently found that the driver side spring is fooked. It has basically sheared at the bottom... :( My dilemma - Do I replace the front two springs with standards or do I replace all 4 with an after market set? I have a 182 with cup...
