can any one recommend a company that can repair the dent preferably mobile as i work away all week :)
Cheers guys
Cool coming from skyline ownership where there where never any forum meets as most people didnt want to spend the fuel lol I'm glad the clio drivers actually like to meet up :)
I need to see when i can get my Clio booked in for a dephaser transplant :( i missed out on the big meet due to work i dont really wanna miss the next one
I personally cant get a credit card of any sort due to past mistakes with credit so if i didnt earn the money i do driving trucks i'd have no option but to pay monthly :(
Tbh if i could get credit i would still ave a ph1 but not a 172 lol v6 goodness lol i could make you really sick by saying...
And i moaned about paying £400 a year on my ph1 lol when i had my last skyline i was only paying £600 per year and that had mods listed to the tune of 450bhp lol
YEP very popular in skylines and 200sx's, I've always used it oh and costs about 45-50 quid a pop lol.
I thought as much lol gonna book it in to NW performance in a couple of weeks (i only drive it twice a week)
Yes it does :) is it a common fault?? any known fixes?
next week i'm going to be getting on the phone to opie oils and buy my preferred poison silkolene pro s doesnt taste nice BUT its pink and is a very good oil lol
How doo guys,
Right before I get it in the neck I have searched lol
When buying my ph1 172 I looked around about 3 car including a ph2 and all of them had the same noise.
It sounds like the tappets/rocker arms are noisy this is happening when the car is warm and on idle.
NOW did I look at 3...
My ph1 172 had a manky steering wheels and my plans for the clio mean i want an aftermarket one In my skylines and 200sx's i would go for a 330mm one with a bit of a dish (about 70mm)
would 330mm be too big in a clio and does anyone have an opinion on the ones k tec are selling?? it doesn't...
WELL PICKED UP MY PH1 172 ON SATURDAY :D was smiling like an idiot all the way home:
86,000 miles 12 service stamps and was told it had a recent cambelt change but no receipts to prove :( it does have a receipt for a water pump tho BUT it has a slight whine from the engine when cold so a lil...
I've got a cat back already how much would he want for the decat and the inlets(if its the same bloke:))?
I'll definatly look at coming to the meet show my face :)
Yeah i just had a look in their section i might just go see them after port maching the inlet and fitting a decat for their cam&remap deal it means i'll have the cam, cam belt and remap done at the same time :) 3 birds 1 stone in my book.
Where is the chester meet being held??
there are only a couple of things I'd buy from Tweeks I might get a bucket seat and stack oil temp and pressure gauge from there other than that i'll be buying from the traders on here :) I'm a firm believer in owners forums and I'm well known on the Nissan 200sx and skyline owners forums they...
Yeah i'll have to see if i can pop down :).
Skylines are fun to play with and if i ever get permission off the wife i will be getting another r32 but for the time being the clio is going to me my speed fix :).
So anyone know where i can take my clio for a remap near by? I'm going to port match...
I just thought I'd pop a thread up and say hi to the local members I live in Rhyl North Wales.
After a 4 year absence from Clio 172 ownership playing with skylines :) I'm picking up a PH1 172 on Saturday to use as a daily driver and weekend track play thing. I look forward to coming along to a...
How doo guys i get my ph1 172 next saturday and was wandering if anyone had fitted a cup/skoda splitter to their ph1 i quite fancy doing it as a first mod lol
Re: The PH1 172 Aprreciation Thread.
honestly now i originally looked at buying a ph2 meaning saving up a lil more but looking at the cars on this thread has definatly made me want to get a ph1 :)
Been having a good look at the ph1 172 and the cost is pretty impressive i do think i might go for one just down to the costs.
one thing will i be limited in tuning and mods due to it being a ph1? or will things like ecus, engine parts and suspension meant for the ph2 172 fit the ph1??
yeah the r32 was a costly affair but most 400 bhp cars cost alot to run lol
I dunno about the looks of the ph1 i know they are cheaper but never really fancied the looks altho i prefer the looks of the ph1 v6 over the ph2 v6. I will see whats on offer when i have the money together
