172 ball joints

I need the 2 ball joints for a ph 1 172 to pass the m.o.t. When I rung renault they said I could only buy the A frame arm. I then rung a local car parts place and they said they sell the ball joint. Are the local car parts place mistaking the ball joints from a non rs model or are renault talking bullshit

You can't buy the ball joint seperately for the MK2 2.0 Clio.
You have to buy the whole lower arm! Just bought one for mine.....came to about 50 quid.

are you sure its not the track rod ends ?

As above make sure it is both of the lower ball joints, not to be confused with track rod ends. If it is the lower ball joints best to get from renault as you get a whole new lower arm with all new bushes etc.

pretty sure that the ball joints are the same as fitted to renault 21's 11's 19's
