172 cup blowing sidelight fuse

I have a wiring problem on my 172 cup, the sidelight fuse for the drivers side blows. I have unplugged the front and rear lighting units and there is still a short to earth. Before I start pulling the dashboard out to get at the back of the fuse box and chase the wires through, has anybody else seen this?

Theres some wires that go across the top of the stereo which may be damaged. Had this issue on my 1.2

Oh wait my bad, that wasnt the drivers side on mine. Sorry, I should have read your post properly!
