172 CUP tyre choice??? help please

right here we go. i have a 172 cup and at the mo its on the wear indicators on khumos on the front budgets on the rear... (so i havent been pushing it hard as you can imagine)

just want some opinions on tyres for the cup any info would be great as i've read through so many threads and i just want to know what suits the cup in the wet.

also unsure about moving up to 205/45/16 as ive had aquaplaning problems in previous cars?

any information muchly apreciated......

cont sports contact's or mich PE2, cant go wrong. cheaper Avons ZV3 are ok IMO

I had Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD-3s on mine and thought they were really good in all weather. About 55quid each from camskill. (195s never tried 205s)
