172 won't start

I know this has been covered 1000 times but help would be appreciated.

have recently installed a refurbished gearbox into a 2001 172. It has started fine, but today it just won't go.

all dash lights are going out, can here the fuel pump prime but then nothing when the key is turned. Have cleaned dtc sensor and checked earth strap.

any ideas?

Dtc as in tdc lol

Matt,

Is the engine turning over or are you getting nothing at all ?

If it is turning over, is the little red immobiliser light flashing ?
