182 Oil filter - which one?

Yo people,

Going to do an oil and filter change soon, just wondering what oil filters people go for... do you stick to those supplied by Renault or do you go for other brands? Any recommendations/warnings?

Also, how difficult is replacing the filter? I have done it before on other cars, just wondered if its in an awkward position or there are things to note/avoid etc?

definatly go with genuine renault filter chap, and there not hard, just fiddly as you have to try to get your hands down the front of the engine lol

Easy to get to if you take the injector cover (or whatever its called) off

cool, thanks guys.... so the filter is accessed via the bonnet then, not from underneath the car??...

Just realised the pics have gone from the guide! Anyway the guide sort of makes sense without them. Also you dont need to jack the car up to change the oil IMO but its upto you.
