40mm springs with 17" wheels possible?

hi all, i know most people on this forum stick to 15 or 16" wheels but i have 17" wheels and was wondering if its possible for me to lower my car 40mm with FK lowering springs even though i have 17" wheels, all help appreciated. Cheers, Macca.

Im not sure for certain, and I don't know anyone that has done it?

im pretty sure youll be alright mate but only one way to find out.
 
Will be fine depending on offset, I had mine down 90mm at the back and 70mm at the front on 17's with 40 profile tires. Had no scrubbing.

One way to be certain, if the wheels look a bit tucked in the arches you should be fine tbh.



I have no idea what the ET of these wheels were, it was a long time ago lol ;)

Yep mate, it will be fine I have 17" team dynamics and 40mm spax springs and all is fine with no scrubbing! :)
