40mm springs with 17" wheels possible?

hi all, i know most people on this forum stick to 15 or 16" wheels but i have 17" wheels and was wondering if its possible for me to lower my car 40mm with FK lowering springs even though i have 17" wheels, all help appreciated. Cheers, Macca.

Im not sure for certain, and I don't know anyone that has done it?

im pretty sure youll be alright mate but only one way to find out.

depends on wheel offset, but should be fine!

Will be fine depending on offset, I had mine down 90mm at the back and 70mm at the front on 17's with 40 profile tires. Had no scrubbing.

One way to be certain, if the wheels look a bit tucked in the arches you should be fine tbh.



I have no idea what the ET of these wheels were, it was a long time ago lol

Yep mate, it will be fine I have 17" team dynamics and 40mm spax springs and all is fine with no scrubbing!
