If I had money I'd have bought it already.

To the right person it's worth it, might cost a few £k to get up to scratch but it's such a rare colour.

As Fred says a less rare LY is actually worth more in decent condition.

Acid Yellow is a shocking colour.

  V6 255, 172's, JCW,
Vee prices seem to be on the up.. Worth the asking price all day. Go find another!

Personally, I'd have Acid over LY any day of the week.

I'd rather have Titanium or Blue or Bronze or Technical over Acid. It has nothing. Looks crap not detailed looks the same detailed. Pony colour!

  Petrol Blue 182.
Best of luck to him! Acid was my first choice colour, shame this one is commanding silly money!

LOL... You'd rather have a FRP. Now they're what I call pony. ;)

Taste is a very personal thing. :approve:

As for detailing Acid, I'm sorry Kev, but you're talking out the back of your head dude.

I really hope he gets his 20k but as for the colour it's the last choice in my eyes I couldn't stand seeing that on my drive way.

£26,995.00 rrp for a standard v6 iirc. This would have been even more, given the extra cost of an I.D. paint colour Luke. Another £1,500 or there abouts!

Each car cost Renault considerably more than that!! So on that basis, they're an absolute bargain! :)

I've looked on the system mate so know exactly what he paid for it.

I love the V6. Sadly that colour is terrible and uninspiring. Some say the same about Lunar but I don't mind that. I've seen 2 heavily detailed Acid Yellow Vees and like I said it's very uninspiring on such an intoxicating car.

Agreed.. it was a bold move indeed by Renault to use Acid Yellow, but I think it shows the car off to great effect. Dont get me wrong here, I dont think I could drive around in one, but given enough cash and room to keep a few more cars, I'd love to have this Acid v6 for myself. Its become such an individual colour. It reminds me of the Le Mans Green of the mk1 Escort Mexico and RS2000.
Like you mention, its not 'as' inspiring a colour as Liquid, or many other colours, be it on a v6 or any other car.. but that could be said for numerous other colours, usually lighter colours and flat colours like, dare I say it, Capsicum. I wouldnt say either were uninspiring though..

Congrats on your purchase of #321 btw.. way better than the FRP.. IMO :p
