airbag lights on seats turning off with resistor ?

Basically iv searched but want an exact descripton of what i need to do to turn the airbag lights off , as i have bucket seats now replacing my standard air bagged seats . all iv know so far is put a resistor in it . but where is it ? and how ? etc .

3.3 Ohm resistor from maplins....

then in like that^, bit of tape round, and the lights will disappear

thanks alot . helped alot lately only asking now as my M.O.T is this month and i am assuming a would fail for having airbag lights on .

i have a slight problem , i got resistors today but turns out when i took my old seats out i couldnt undo the black clip in this picture so cut it off leaving just the wires going to it . the grey one is still there though ! what the hell do i do now then ? ...

strip the wires, solder the resistor onto the wires...

Won't fail the MOT on the airbag light been on. Think its an advisory though.
