Airbag Warning Light - Aftermarket Seats

Put a set of Sparcos in the car and there is an Air bag warning light appearing on the dash... to my knowledge this is an MOT fail.

I've been told that putting a 3ohm resistor into the correct place will turn the lights out. I have myself 2 2.7ohm resistors and 2 3.3ohm resistors as Maplin didn't have any 3ohm and these were as close as I could get.

I've tried multiple combinations of holes and it still wont go out. Anyone want to enlighten me as to where they should go?

Surely it needs to be the live power and earth wire? Red or Yellow and Black wires.

Turns out only 3ohm resistors will work.. You know anywhere which sells them?
