Anno 1404 - including pics

Only just started with it, but in true Blue Byte/Settlers fashion - it's a definite grower.

The isometric view is very familiar and there is an amazing level of detail in the unit animation. I haven't got to the stage of fighting anyone yet - only making inroads on the trading and settlements so far.

The only negative is that it's not really that explanatory of what you need to do and when. There are markers to say that there is an issue here and there, but not how you're supposed to respond and deal with it. A bit of fumbling about required, but it's a small issue on the whole.

It's different to what I'm used to. Never really been into these types of games before but I tried the demo and loved it.

Taking a break from it at the moment as I think it's the type of game you can play for 6 hours and not really notice where the time has gone.

If you click on one of the dwellings it shows you the residents needs. To progress to the next level you need to make sure each need (Food, drink, clothing etc etc) is fully met. Only then will the residents progress.
