If your coming from the m11, take the Harlow turnoff (Junction 7)

Take the exit signposted chelmsford/north weald/ongar and head straight down on that road (canes ln) towards the 1st roundabout and do a right.

You are now on raylay ln. Follow the road (going past the golf club on your left) and take a right at the next roundabout.

You are now on merlin way. (You will see the airfield to your left) Follow the road up towards the the roundabout and double back on yourselves. Then turn into the control tower entrance and bear left.

There will be parking attendants there pointing you towards the car park as there is a big market on. Just tell them that your going to the squadron bar and they will allow you to go straight up. Follow the road all the way round and you'll be on the outside of the airfield. Keep going all the way round and you'll see a bunch of lovely happy people with some clio's :)

Please note that it is a strict 20mph zone and always check for aircraft crossing the taxi's as they have right of way.

I'm there.

Got my bus back after it spent a long weekend in deepest Sussex with Richard @ Automotive Engineering.

No screaming belts, no dodgy idling, no jumpy clutch, no rattly blowing exhaust...

WUNDERBA !!
