Anyone good with electrics

If I have a 3 position toggle switch and up is on, middle is off and down is on

How do I wire the following?

Device A is connected to up position and Device B is connected to down position

This is ok, but I want both Device A + B to come on when switch is in down position and only Device A to come on when switch is in up position. How do I achieve this?

Hope this all makes sense?

Thanks

Would that not mean that they also both come on in up position?

Thanks for fast reply!
depends what the switch looks like.

For control of headlights. (Kit car and not mine)

Dash mounted toggle switch (cannot find a 4 position toggle switch anywhere on web) OFF - SIDELIGHTS - DIPPED HEADLIGHTS

Then separate pushbutton switch for main beam.

Thats his plan anyway any better suggestions?

Problem is need sidelights to stay on when dipped headlights are switched on.
