Anyone got a coil pack I could try in St Helens?

Ok so just changed my leads and plugs but nowhere has a coil pack, anyone local with a spare I could purchase, can travel as well?

Thanks in advance

Phil

No idea, just trying to eliminate possibilities plus the plugs looked old so would've done them anyway. Only leads I could find on a Sunday was from ECP.

how bad where your original leads and where they genuine?. got a set that are old but worked in my shed if you wanna try them. dont think i kept the coil pack.. did a refreash not long ago and swapped a few bits out.

Original leads looked ok to me and where original, changed them out for EPC HAAS leads and no different so not the leads, also changed the plugs to NGK's.

Does it sound a bit like a Subaru?

I reckon it's an injector, my mate @Brett has a few spare injectors. He's near you.
A really shite sounding Scooby, but yeah mate sounds like its underwater if that makes sense. Not a flicker of a light though. Got 'the Renault man' calling at 12:30 for diagnostics.....£40. Least he has the latest clip software so if anything is untoward he should pick it up.

If it is an injector mate I'll defo take one, do you reckon I'd be able to grab it today if it is?

Cheers

It'll be tonight when he's back from work if it is. I'll message him to look in this thread now.

I've not tested any of the injectors (recently) but providing you can get your fuel rail guard off they're only a five minute job to change.

So the specialist turned up and couldn't get into the ECU. Finally after 30 minutes manged to get in but not into the fuel rail tables so said he would have to come back tomorrow with an older version of clip (no charge so far). So for me it was obvious it was an injector so pulled the fuel rail cover and pulled each one and on No 3 no different so trundled down the ecp and bought a new injector.

Fitted it and hey presto car is running like a dream.

Thanks for the help guys. Loving the car just need new uprated brakes all round, fluid change and to service the calipers as it seems when under hard braking it's pulling to the left meaning the right rear is trying to overtake the front. It's probably a sticking piston. Oh and a new steering wheel and boss as the standard one is gash. Gonna go with a 300mm to reduce the input needed.

The brakes pulling to one side can be the slider bolts on the caliper too mate.

Make sure they're greased up.
Brill ta mate, will do a full brake service on all components greasing as I go. Gonna order the Carbon Lorraine 5+ and Brembo HC discs from Ktec.... £190.
