Bodywork recommendations

  MX-5
Evening everyone.

On the way home from work last night a fawn decided it wanted a closer look at my Trophy, a really close look.
Thankfully there really isn't much damage, it's limited to a slightly dented drivers door just below the 2.0 16v badge and a 2 small scratches in the bumper, again on the drivers side.

I've hopefully found a decent dent repair man as I've also posted this on the Trophy forum but I'm looking for a bumper repair/spray man. It needs to be spot on as I want the car to look good and i'm also a fussy bugger. Sorry!

To add to this although it's of less of a concern, I'm looking to give the car a proper detail as the paintwork is looking decidedly used, especially after I had some spray work done recently so if anyone can help there too it'd be very much appreciated.

By the way, the deer got up and ran away without so much as a scratch! I'm happy at that obviously but I did want to ring its neck a little bit!

Ah, forgot to say I'm in Thatcham, so Berkshire mainly but will happily travel further.

I'd recommend Alexander Autos in Dummer near Basingstoke. I've got my R26 booked in for a front bumper respray next week.

Well he's a bit of a VW specialist but he does do anything. Had a scooby rally shell there a few years back fully caged and he was doing the whole inside in brilliant white, it looked like some kind of space age jungle gym.

Remeber I have got 12 years of VW ownership history.

And Fred I still need to speak to you....

I'll ask Greg about that when I next see him. Never heard a bad word said about any of his cars he's painted but there ya go.

Didn't mean he wasn't any good mate probly came out wrong what I meant was he is not day and night better than some other places I have never seen a bad job he's done just that seen paint as good done elsewhere too.
He does have a great name on vw scene.
