As title states, i have everything to do this. I was wondering how easy/hard it is to do without taking the engine out due to limited space? cheers

R5 GTX bracketry? If so you can do it with the standard 172 alternator. You may get better access by removing the front bumper and headlight.

no you can't, you'd need a cup alternator. Valver item is a viable alternative,

Bumper and slam panel off, lots of access
