cctv installation?

hi all

I am currently considering installing some CCTV on my drive, has anyone else managed to do this on a reasonable budget? ~150ish max?

I'd like to know how you record also, can I setup a slave server to record direct to a hard drive, to avoid costly dvd/ancient vcr setup?

My dad done it, think he records it through a DVD recorder, think it has a 100gb drive and over writes every week (meaning he can trawl through the last 7 days of footage)

Get yourself to Bloc & Quail they will have security stuff..

Ive got a simple cctv camera that was about £30 (from focus) connected to my vcr which i leave recording at night. Its also handy to see whos at the door as just have to press the aux button on the tv remote.
