clio 182 k&n apollo filter

  clio sport 182
Just purchased my first clio 182. Its a great little car for what ive got planned for it. According to the guy i brought it off he states that its had cams fitted,ITG panel filter, remap, and somthing done to the throttle body. hes give me figures of 213bhp on the rollers which im abit apprehensive about. Could this be about right as i dont have the rolling road print out!!!!
Also im looking to change the filter to a k&n apollo. good move or bad???
Im pretty new to the fr4 as ive always had jap cars. bye the way this is a great site compared to what ive been on. keep up the good work lads.:)

Take it to a specialist near by and get them to have a look at it to see what it has and has not got or put it on a rr and see what the outcome is

no mate it will not be putting that much out with those mods! and without a legit printout i would not believe it.

k&n just sucks up the heat out the engine bay wouldn't bother with one standard is fine or the jms setup if you want something better

Keep the standard set up with the itg panel filter, also the engine is an F4r.lol.

The K&n won't give any gains.

K&N cone filter will just soak up all that heat in the engine bay..tried one with my 182 when i had it and it was alot slower. get a decent panel filter and that will be fine. That wont have 213bhp with the mods mentioned, guy was clearly been keen with that figure. Bearing in mind 182's dont have 182bhp when they come out the factory..

213 sounds a bit exaggerated to me for those mods, especially with no printout.

Don't bother with the K&N Induction kit, the standard airbox on these cars are pretty much spot on, changing them usually just means lost power.
