clio sport 172 problem. help???

hi everyone, hopefully someone can help me!
i have a 2003 clio sport 172. recentley on the motorway at 90mph the electrical fault light came on and the car wouldn't accelerate. i pulled over turned the ignition off and on again and it was fine. it did it three times, each with the same result but on the last time it did it the toxic fume monitoring light also came on and stayed on until the following day. now no lights are on and it seems normal. any ideas would be much appreciated!!! thanks

that would be the coil pack, can take out the cat when it goes bad.

is it an expensive fix? and nothing to do with the ecu?

£40 ro so for the coil pack.

Renault you need the computer plugging into the car could be a lambeda sensor.
