Clutch/gearbox noise on idle

When the car gets warm ie after 20 mins or so, if the engine is idling there is a faint whine coming from the gearbox. When you press the clutch it seems to get louder.

Should i be worried?

Although not a clio our van did that, Ended up needing a new clutch and (i think) a clutch release bearing.

Hopefully it's something minor with yours.

I've got exactly the same problem on my 172 and a couple of people suggested it could be a thrust bearing and I had this noise going for a year now I should really think about getting it looked at aswell lol
